Waste Tracker for receivers
From 1 July, receivers of reportable priority waste must use Waste Tracker.
From 1 July 2021, receivers in the reportable priority waste supply chain must use Waste Tracker. Under new laws, anyone who receives reportable priority waste must close out waste records at the time of receivership. Waste Tracker helps receivers comply with their new responsibilities by allowing them to close off waste records in real time.
Waste Tracker replaces EPA’s former Waste Transport Certificate system.
There are two types of receiver roles for Waste Tracker.

Receivers must complete the following steps to begin using Waste Tracker.

Receiver businesses:
Receiver administrators must connect to the receiver business through the Business Sign up form. Once connected, receiver administrators can ‘invite’ site receivers to connect to their business in Waste Tracker. This connection creates a relationship between the receiver business and each receiver site.
Receiver administrators who need to use to the Waste Tracker mobile app, must ‘invite’ themselves to connect to the receiver business.
Site receivers must be invited by a receiver administrator to connect to a receiver business. Site receivers must create the site receiver relationship in Waste Tracker before using the Waste Tracker mobile app.

In closing out each waste record you must enter:
A ‘milk run’ means when a driver collects separate loads of the same waste type from multiple locations. A separate waste record is required for each load. These individual records may be grouped together as a grouped waste record. Waste Tracker allows receivers to accept grouped waste records in a single transaction.
