EPA uses advanced monitoring systems to prevent harm to human health and the environment from pollution and waste.
EPA is responsible for keeping you informed about the state of the environment in Victoria.
We monitor air quality across the state and in local areas. You can check your local air quality using EPA AirWatch.
We also monitor the quality of Victoria’s marine water and freshwater.
Between December and March, Beach Report forecasts water quality at 36 bay beaches twice a day. Yarra Watch forecasts water quality at four sites on the Yarra River.
