This event is an information session for anyone interested in making a submission to the proposed waste and resource recovery determinations discussion paper released last week. This discussion paper is available on Engage Victoria until 4 March 2021.

The webinar will update industry and government on proposed specifications for certain wastes so that they can be legally and safely recovered and reused, avoiding landfill disposal. 

Environment Protection Authority Victoria, Sustainability Victoria and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning will be presenting on:
• Recycling Victoria - Victoria’s circular economy policy and action plan
• the proposed waste determinations (solid organic wastes, manures, fill material, and aggregates)
• how to make a submission on the waste determinations consultation paper on Engage Vic.

Time will be set aside to answer questions.
