This guideline supports operators of concrete batching plants and pre-cast concrete manufacturing plants to manage the risk of harm to human health and the environment through good industry practice. 

The guideline helps the concrete batching industry to assess, manage and control their risks to achieve practical performance outcomes, while allowing flexibility as to how this will be achieved. It replaces publication 628.
