The Environment Protection Regulations, developed jointly by EPA and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP), support the new environmental protection legislation by providing clarity and further detail for duty holders on how to fulfil their obligations. 

The purpose of this summary is to explain the regulatory framework for noise pollution within the Regulations.
