Court orders made
Convicted. Ordered pursuant to s.67AC of the Act:
1. To carry out a project for restoration or enhancement of the environment, namely the development and implementation of the Stony Creek Neighbourhood Environment Improvement Plan (“NEIP”) to improve the water quality of Stony Creek.
2. To pay;
(a) $30,000 to the Maribyrnong City Council by 13.09.02, towards the employment of a project officer for the NEIP for a period of 12 months commencing no later than 31.12.02;
(b) $10,000 to the Maribyrnong City Council by 13.09.02, towards development and implementation of the streamside re-vegetation measures along Stony Creek, to be completed by 30.06.03.
3. Provide to the Informant proof of such payment within 2 weeks of its having been made.
4. Refrain from referring to the project or the payment in any official communication without reference to these proceedings.
5. Cause to be published, by 13.09.02, a notice – in the terms filed with the Court – in the editorial pages of the Western Times and the Footscray Mail.
6. Provide to the Informant proof of publication of each notice within 2 weeks of its publication.
7. Cause to be published a notice – in the terms filed with the Court – in Pivot Limited’s 2002 Annual Report.
