Court orders made

Without conviction, placed on an undertaking to be of good behaviour for 24 months with special condition to comply with the following s.67AC Order.
(1) Carry out by 30 December 2002 an environmental restoration or enhancement project, specifically, removal of willows from the creek and both banks of Waterhole Creek from Hourigan Road, Morwell to a point 400 metres downstream.
(2) Compliance with requirement (1) shall be constituted by:
(a) payment of $25,000 to West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority, by 31 July 2002;
(b) provision of a report to the Authority as to how and when the project was carried out;
(c) use best endeavours to ensure that in any public communication referring to matter of the Order, a statement is included that the project was carried out pursuant to a Court order.
(3) Publish a notice (wording specified) in the Latrobe Valley Express by 28 June 2002.
(4) Publish a notice in the 2001 – 2002 Annual Report.
(5) Provide the Authority with copy of the Annual Report.
