This report summarizes the air monitoring results from February 2012 to May 2013 at Morwell East and Traralgon.The levels of the air pollutants measured at both Morwell East and Traralgon were comparable and below the air quality objectives or standards except for small particles (PM10 and PM2.5). Of the 15 months of air monitoring undertaken, levels of PM10 or PM2.5 were above the objectives at both sites from 4 to seven days, mainly due to significant smoke impacts from a local bushfire in January 2013 and planned burning in May 2013.
