EPA Victoria has been working throughout today (Sunday 5 Nov) to rectify technical issues it has been having with the AirWatch network.

AirWatch is the EPA service that monitors and reports on air quality at many locations around the state then publishes the results to the EPA website ( https://www.epa.vic.gov.au/for-community/monitoring-your-environment/about-epa-airwatch )

Work will continue but while AirWatch monitors  actual air quality through a series of sensors, our air quality scientists are still able to provide accurate forecasts based on weather forecasts and local conditions. The forecast for the state is for good air quality.

Please continue to monitor the AirWatch site which we anticipate will be back to normal soon.
